 The image I upload doesn't look nice on Design tool, do I have to do backgound removing first?

 Removing the background is a good way to make your image stand out on the T-shirt. You can upload the image on our Partee design tool page and see if it is suitable for the color of the T-shirt selected.

There's a "Zoom canvas" on the top of the design page, which shows clear effect of your image on the T-shirt. If most colors of your image are similar to the T-shirt color, then backgroud removing may not work to make your image stand out on the T-shirt. Thus, it's suggested that whether the image is suitable for printing should be considered.
